Julio Pascual Sejas Arrested In Springfield Shooting

A 41-year-old Arlington man wanted for shooting his estranged wife and her co-worker through a door at a Fairfax County daycare Wednesday, March 27 has been arrested after a more than four-hour search, police said.

Julio Pascual Sejas was trying to speak to his spouse, or estranged spouse, when he shot three rounds through the door of the business on the 8500 block of Bauer Drive, FCPD's Deputy Chief Brooke Wright said.

Sejas' spouse and another women were struck and hospitalized, and police were called to the scene at approximately 2:15 p.m. Police said the incident was domestic in nature.

Police said there was no indication anything happened at the scene and they were removed from the premises.

Sejas is expected to be charged two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, a weapons offense and shooting into a school building.
